Our version that we sell has all the car brands and maintenance software fully unlocked however some sellers do sell the version with only one car brand or with only a one year subscription.
No, it does not need charging as it takes its power directly from the vehicles OBD II port. The power consumption of the device is very minimal and it’s very safe.
Yes, it can be used on many different vehicle brands and models. We only sell the 2-year pro devices and the 3-year elite devices so every brand and model within the app is available.
Yes, simply log into your account with your email and password on any device with the app installed. If you have not used the device before or if you need any updates, the software will need to be downloaded onto the new device. The Thinkdiag device can only be linked to one email address, so you will have to use the same email address across all devices.
No, it does not. It has its own built-in Bluetooth module. It is completely independent of the vehicles Bluetooth. The device connects to your phone's Bluetooth and not your cars Bluetooth. The vehicle connects to the thinkdiag via the OBD2 port on the vehicle. Our Bluetooth module has been thoroughly tested to ensure that it does not interfere with other Bluetooth devices.
Every Thinkdiag we sell comes with 2 or 3 years of full access to everything within the app. Once your subscription ends after the 2 years you will then need to repurchase your software in the app.
The Thinkdiag pro comes will an all brand full software subscription. This means that you get every available car brand and maintenance software that is in the app for 2 years. There will be no need to buy any additional subscriptions for 24 months.
All our devices come with all the manufacturer software included. The manufacturer software gives you access to ALL diagnostic functions. This includes read/clear codes, live data streaming, actuation tests, and all maintenance functions. As long as they are supported by your vehicle. To access the maintenance functions you go to the All System Diagnostic Menu. You can use separate maintenance functions for convenience. ThinkDiag supports many vehicles manufactures, diagnoses more than 115 vehicle brands. The diagnostics software is available in ThinkStore in the App. Note: The sizes of different manufactures’ diagnostics software are different. Some software is large which requires a good network environment to download. We also have a handy vehicle coverage checker on our website which you can use to see what Thinkdiag can do on your vehicle.
ThinkDiag supports 15 special functions. Including, INJECTOR, BOX, Immobilizer/Keys, DPF, EGR, BREAK, AFS, BLEED, BMS, OIL, SAS, SUS, SUNROOF, TPMS, Elec. Throttle RLRN. Not every special function is available on every car brand. Availability depends on the make model and year of the vehicle. There may be more special functions available under your specific car brand.
ThinkDiag App supports smartphones with Android 5.1 to Android 11, IOS 9.0 and above. It is not available on a PC with windows systems.
This is common when you have just activated the device and is easy to fix. You need to log out and back in and they will all show. On the rare occasions that this does not work simply uninstall the Thinkdiag app and reinstall.
The Thinkdiag does not officially work on tablets and is not shown on the google play store however you may install the app manually and it should work without any issues. We can not promise it will work on a tablet but we have yet to have a customer that the app did not install on manually. To install the app manually you will need to go to the downloads section on the website.

2. For garages, instead of using an expensive diagnostic tool, Thinkdiag can be considered as it is so powerful and covering all diagnostic functions.
The device is covered for one year from the date of purchase against faults in the device due to a manufacturing defect. Any modified device will not be covered under warranty or any device that has either been treated negligently or where it is not a manufacturing defect. Under warranty you must send the device back to us for us to analyse to issue and fix.
After two years you can only use basic obd2 however you may purchase another two years subscription if you choose.
This is because most suppliers either only provide one free software for one year or all software for just one year. We have listened to our customers and only sell what is the best value for money.
Some Tesla models do not have a normal OBD2 port and require a special adapter to connect the Thinkdiag to the car. This adapter is not the extension cable that we stock.
